Mark AslettMARK ASLETT
President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Aslett is Mercury's President and Chief Executive Officer, and is a member of its Board of Directors. He brings in-depth experience that spans the technology industry, across a variety of markets that include telecommunications, data networking, security, defense, and life sciences. Within these areas, Mr. Aslett has held strategic-level positions in or has been responsible for engineering, operations, marketing, business development, portfolio management, and general executive management.

Prior to joining Mercury, Mr. Aslett was chief executive officer of Enterasys, and held various positions with Marconi plc and its affiliated companies, including executive vice president of marketing, vice president of portfolio management, and president of Marconi Communications - North America. Mr. Aslett has also held positions at GEC Plessey Telecommunications, and other telecommunications-related technology firms. He started his career at British Telecommunications plc as a software engineer.

A native of the United Kingdom and a naturalized United States citizen, Mr. Aslett has an extensive background in global business. Mr. Aslett has a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School, and a First Honors Bachelor’s degree in Digital Systems Engineering.


Douglas FloodDOUGLAS F. FLOOD
Vice President, Corporate Development

Mr. Flood is responsible for identifying and developing new business and market opportunities for Mercury. These include exploring strategic partnership, merger and acquisition opportunities, and technology licensing possibilities, in order to ensure the company's continued leadership in its core market segments, as well as to identify and pursue new markets for its technology.

Prior to joining Mercury in 1998, Mr. Flood was senior vice president for business development and planning at FTP Software, Inc., where he identified and managed partnerships and acquisitions, including alliances with MCI WorldCom and IBM. He has also held positions with the law firm of Fish & Richardson, a practice, which concentrates in licensing and copyright; the Dun & Bradstreet Corp.; and Raytheon Company.

Mr. Flood has a law degree from Boston University, and holds master's and bachelor's degrees in mathematics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and Purdue University, respectively.

Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Hult is responsible for the company's finance, treasury, and customer support functions. He has specific expertise within the technology and telecommunications industries and extensive experience in managing acquisitions and overseeing financial operations for companies working in high-growth markets.

Before joining Mercury, Mr. Hult served as chief financial officer, treasurer and senior vice president of operations for NMS Communications, a publicly traded telecommunications systems and data services company. Previously, he was employed by Digital Equipment Corporation for more than two decades in positions of increasing responsibility within the company's corporate and regional finance groups. He served as chief financial officer for Digital's AltaVista Internet Software group and as vice president and general manager of the AltaVista Internet search engine.

Mr. Hult earned a master's degree in business administration from Babson College and a master of science degree and a bachelor of science degree in management science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

President, Visage Imaging, Inc.

Mr. Lima leads Mercury's Life Sciences subsidiary, Visage Imaging, Inc. He has more than 25 years of experience in the medical industry, holding positions in engineering, marketing, business development, and general executive management.  

Previously, he was chief executive officer of OPSION Medical, and prior to that, vice president and general manager for Kodak's Health Imaging unit in charge of the worldwide hardcopy business. Mr. Lima has also held management positions at Hewlett Packard Medical Products Group and Siemens Medical. He started his career at Johnson & Johnson as a software engineer.

Mr. Lima has a master's degree in business administration from the University of Chicago, a master of science degree in biomedical engineering from Boston University, and a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Gama Filho University (UGF) in Brazil.

Vice President, Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Lund coordinates Mercury's Technology Office, which is the company's lead lobbyist for strategic technology investments that anticipate the company's existing customer requirements as well as those that open new markets. The Technology Office drives Mercury to aggressively leverage breakthrough innovations and disruptive technologies.

Prior to joining Mercury, Mr. Lund was president of Local Knowledge, a technical consulting group he founded in 1991 to provide clients with technology-oriented market research and business planning services. Prior to Local Knowledge, Mr. Lund ran the engineering group at Mercury from 1986 to 1988. He also held engineering and marketing roles at Charles River Data Systems, the first company to create multicomputing computers using microprocessors.

Mr. Lund was a key player in the design of the ANSI/VITA RACEway Interlink standard, one of the initial founders of the IEEE POSIX family of software standards, and is a member of the steering committee of the RapidIO Trade Association.

Mr. Lund holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from the University of Connecticut.


Terry RyanTERRY M. RYAN
Senior Vice President and General Manager, Federal Government Businesses

Mr. Ryan is responsible for growing Mercury's business in national intelligence and homeland security markets. With more than 20 years' experience in government and industry, Mr. Ryan is a recognized leader in the defense and intelligence space.

Most recently, Mr. Ryan was senior vice president of strategic development for Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), responsible for overseeing strategy development and mergers and acquisitions for the Intelligence, Security and Technology Group. Prior to this, Mr. Ryan served as vice president and director for SRA International’s C4ISR Center; and president and CEO for Adroit Systems, which focused on intelligence community agencies and homeland defense. Before joining the private sector, Mr. Ryan served as director of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance for the Department of Defense, and as a Professional Staff Member of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.

Mr. Ryan served 10 years in the military as a senior intelligence analyst for the U.S. Office of Naval Intelligence, and infantry commander and intelligence officer for the U.S. Marine Corps.

Senior Vice President, Organization Development & Human Resources

Mr. Saline joined the company in 2004 and is responsible for human resources strategies and programs. He has more than 34 years of human resources experience with global manufacturing and technology companies, with specific expertise in change management, leadership and team development, and business process improvements.

Mr. Saline began his career with General Electric Company, holding varying assignments in appliances, television, medical system information systems and aircraft businesses. Most recently he served as interim vice president, human resources for Tufts New England Medical Center. He has also served as senior vice president, human resources for World Kitchen, and senior vice president, human resources, North American region for Reckitt Benckiser, Inc. Mr. Saline also held the HR leadership positions with Teledyne, Inc. and Marshalls, Inc.

Mr. Saline earned a master's degree in industrial relations from the University of Cincinnati and a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Minnesota.


thibaudDIDIER M.C. THIBAUD
Senior Vice President, Advanced Computing Solutions

Mr. Thibaud is Senior Vice President of Mercury’s Advanced Computing Solutions (ACS) group, responsible for sales, product engineering, operations, and other general management duties since July 2007. ACS provides specialized, high-performance computing systems to top-tier OEMs in the semiconductor, communications, seismic, medical imaging, and defense markets. In addition, Mr. Thibaud manages the company’s Visualization Sciences Group, and is the global European managing director and president of Mercury’s French, UK, and Netherlands subsidiaries.

Prior to his position with ACS, Mr. Thibaud managed the company’s Defense Business Unit and its worldwide Imaging and Visualization Solutions (IVS) group. Before joining Mercury in 1995, Mr. Thibaud was technical director and account manager for Horizon Technologies, where he specialized in the development of  European business for digital signal processing (DSP) products. Previously, at ONERA, the French National Research Center for Aerospace, Mr. Thibaud spent several years managing research and development of DSP applications in medical and defense electronics, and was the engineering manager for multiprocessor systems that were used for tracking and surveillance radar. Mr. Thibaud started his career with CHU Lille hospital's center for medical signal processing research.

Mr. Thibaud graduated from the Hautes Etudes Industrielles in Lille, France, with a degree in Information Technology. He also earned a D.E.A. (Diplôme d'Etudes Approfondies) in signal and image processing.


Alex Van AdzinALEX A.VAN ADZIN
Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporation Secretary

Mr. Van Adzin is responsible for leading the overall direction and management of Mercury’s legal affairs, which encompass corporate governance, securities law, contracts, M&A-related legal work, regulatory matters, intellectual property, international projects, employment law, and outside legal services.

Prior to joining Mercury, Mr. Van Adzin was Vice President, General Counsel, Corporation Secretary, and Chief Representative of the China Representative Office at Analogic Corporation, a medical and security technology company, where he directed the company’s legal activities, managed its legal department, and played a key role in actively handling a wide variety of legal, transactional, contracting, compliance, and regulatory matters.

Previously, Mr. Van Adzin was Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporation Secretary at ManagedComp, Inc., a managed-care company, and Vice President and Corporate Counsel at Abex Corporation, an aerospace and automotive equipment company. He has also worked at the Liberty Mutual Group and at the Boston law firms of Sullivan & Worcester and Gadsby & Hannah.

Mr. Van Adzin completed a dual-degree program at Harvard University and Boston University Law School, from which he received M.C.P. and J.D. degrees. He holds a B.A. degree from Columbia University.


Karl NooneKARL D.NOONE
Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer

Mr. Noone is responsible for the company’s accounting, internal and external reporting, as well as financial planning, budgeting and analysis. He has extensive experience in high-technology and growth company accounting and finance issues; mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures including negotiations and integration; SEC reporting compliance; as well as considerable executive management experience in operating large finance departments, administration and general cost-management measures.

Prior to joining Mercury, Mr. Noone was senior vice president, corporate controller at Digitas Inc., a digital marketing and media company, where he was responsible for accounting, financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, income taxes, risk management, and treasury. Prior to Digitas, Mr. Noone was vice president of finance at CMGI, Inc., an investor in and operator of several Internet-based businesses. As a member of the executive management team during a period of rapid growth and expansion, Mr. Noone assisted with the acquisition and integration of more than 30 public and privately held companies. Mr. Noone also held executive positions at Authorize.Net, Inc., a transaction processing company; CentrePath, Inc., a data center networking company; and Ernst & Young LLP.

Mr. Noone graduated with honors from Boston College with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and earned his CPA license in 1997.
