Intelligence Surveillance & Reconnaissance
Arlington, VA
Continuing gaps in intelligence information sharing capabilities post 9/11, emerging requirements for new “ISR surges” in Afghan and Iraqi operations, ISR challenges associated with new counter-insurgency and counter-terrorism operations, increased roles for ISR assets across a broad range of new and evolving missions (space defense, maritime domain awareness, global surveillance/global strike, etc.) – these and many other critical issues are driving the ongoing reassessment of our current ISR forces.

Airborne Networks Conference
Las Vegas, NV
Airborne Networks promise to revolutionize air traffic control and airborne navigation, as well as move us closer to the real-time, persistent ISR and distributed targeting necessary to make netcentric operations a reality. The development of airborne networks, internets and intranets will depend upon technologies and systems being developed in both the commercial and military markets, and there will be numerous opportunities for cross-over applications.
April 27-28, 2010
UAV Summit
Washington, DC
Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) provide the intelligence, armament and sensors for very long periods of time which could dramatically decrease the number of casualties. The role of UAVs is expanding, and their unlimited role on the future battlefield is inevitable. Rapid technological advances promise to radically alter the art of the possible for unmanned aerial warfare and next-generation models. There is a need to discuss developments in propulsion, Artificial Intelligence, multi-spectral sensors, and energy use.

Full Motion Video
Washington, DC
Government and military users across the spectrum of strategic and tactical roles and missions are clamoring for more and better means to collect, analyze, exploit and share full-motion video. And while the deployment of a fleet of unmanned systems has led to a significant increase in the amount of video that can be captured, the means to exploit that video for near-real-time analysis and dissemination lags behind. Multiple, competing video formats, interoperability challenges with legacy ISR stovepipes, the somewhat limited capabilities of current data tagging and metadata tools, and problems associated with already-strained, bandwidth-constricted ISR networks -- all these issues will need to be dealt with if FMV capabilities are to be fully realized.
